We love our state and for so many reasons! Its lush mountain range, and the ability to be close to the city but feel like you are out in the country. Maybe for you it’s the love you have for Ski season, or time on the Lake on a long summer day. Whatever it is, it’s easy to fall in love with!
In our industry, the Armor Brokers have the privilege to travel near and far to help Our Clients, and get the pleasure of seeing all of the different landscapes Colorado has to offer. We also very often experience the fact that even the natives here have not experienced the glory that our state holds. Typically speaking the people who like the North side of the state stay North, and same for the Southern Coloradoans. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for digging your roots down deep, but lets get out and explore people!
With that said, we would like to share a few of our premier locations here in the beautiful Columbine State with you! Colorado has something to offer to all tastes and spectrums of lifestyles! You will be able to find your urban living, your Historical areas, as well as the mountain getaways and everything in between! So let’s dive right into the locations we have hand selected to showcase!
I would like to start with the heart and soul, DENVER. Funny how no matter what suburb you are from when someone asks where you are from your instant answer is “Denver”. It is our landmark. Denver is now one of the fastest growing cities in the United States! So what is soooo great about Denver, well we can start by the surging economy as a whole. The fact that the heart of the city is a major hotbed for companies ranging from Computer system companies to the tech world or video game industry! Not to mention the wide variety of entertainment! Denver holds its own food culture experience and nightlife extravaganza! With places like the “Milk Market”, and Rooftop dinning close enough to see the Rockies’s play at Coors field, you won’t be able to find this anywhere else. You can literally catch a Bronco game, a Nuggets game, and/or a Rockies’s game within a few miles of each other! You just cant beat it :)
Now let’s hit on another main attraction to Colorado for many people, the Mountain range, after all we are the home of the Rocky Mountains! Not to mention Vail, Aspen, Breckenridge, Dillon, Winter park, and a plethora of many more! Our gorgeous mountains span from deep south, all the way north! With activities in the winter like Skiing, tubing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling, just to list a few, and summer time adventures like hiking, water rafting, lake play, camping, trail walks, and hot springs, there is always something to do!
We have hit two of our hot spots so far, true landmarks of what people think of when they think Colorado. So, let’s hit some suburbs now, we will start North and make our way south! So lets talk Arvada. Arvada is the northern equivalent to the southern Colorado’s Littleton, in our opinion. Arvada is a well thought-out and well established community. You can definitely experience the small town fell in “Old Town”, and still be a short drive into Downtown Denver. Arvada captures great culture and an environment that all people can get acquainted to! It also has plenty of its own entertainment such as Stanley Lake, hiking trails, and wonderful restaurants! Arvada is also in close proximity to the Mountain range as well! You can’t go wrong!
Let’s venture over to the opposite side of the Colorado suburbs to the suburbs of Aurora Colorado. Aurora Colorado has had kind of a bad wrap for many years from local and native Coloradoans. That is quickly changing! With it’s diversity, brand new premier shopping, and the Stanley Marketplace, Aurora is holding its own! Aurora is also the home of 6 public golf courses, lakes to fish, hiking trails, and a ton of biking spots!! With all of this you would think that the cost of living must be wild? Think again! Aurora is one of the more affordable suburbs of Colorado! It holds labels like “the healthiest housing market in the nation”! Not only is Aurora thriving but now it is also home to one of the top rated medical schools and hospitals in the states! Aurora holds a large portion of job opportunities and is a highly rated city of opportunity!
Keep reading it will be worth it.
It’s time to head deeper south. Next up Centennial Colorado. Centennial CO was established about 10 years ago, although always being there, it’s glory days are among it. Centennial CO is almost always part of CNN money’s top 50 best places to live! Centennial spans very far east these days, but also shares those familiar boarders to Littleton and Highlands Ranch! It is well known for its top rated school districts, one of the busiest non-commercial airports, and a large amount of community oriented entertainment and activities. Centennial houses the Bronco’s training center, a wide range of social activity and most things are in walking distance! Centennial also has easy access to the mountain range, major highways and is about a 25 minute drive into downtown!
And last but not least, Highlands Ranch!!! This is the most Southern location we will premier for you this time, but there will be more to showcase for sure! Talk about economic boom. Highlands ranch has experienced an exponential amount of growth over the last 5 years and is showing no sign of stopping! It mirrors some of the same attributes of its surrounding areas like being less than 15 miles from Downtown Denver, and close access to major highways, so why is it different?? With major companies like UC Health Care opening more locations, Highlands Ranch was able to offer over 400 new jobs on the last 2 years alone! Not to mention this community was founded in the early 80s which makes it fairly new compared! Highlands Ranch has its own top rated school district, and low crime rate! There is also plenty to get outside to do with its over 60 mile spread of trails to run, hike, bike, and explore!
So there you have it! Everyone is due their own opinion, and these are just a few of ours with some facts included!
